I found this blurb in the Summer movie preview section of Entertainment Weekly:

1-800-Missing
Lifetime, Premieres Aug. 2, 10PM
"I will arrest anyone who tries to get in my way!" snapes FBI agent Brooke Haslett (ER's Gloria Reuben), brooking no sass from twentysomething psychic Jess Mastriani (Caterina Scorsone). Yes, she's that frustrated - but it's understandable. Brooke is a procedural geek with an impressive success rate tracking down dissappeared persons, while Jess' credentials consist solely of being struck by lightning. And - wouldn't you know it? - Brooke's condescending boss wants them to team up. "It's about how much she is willing to believe," Reuben explains, and you can see her dilemma. Not only has Jess been unearthing missing persons like some turbocharged truffle pig, but all the hard work in the world hasn't helped Brooke track down her current abductee - a Washington intern. Like Agent Scully before her, Haslett is eventually won over by her partner's otherwordly methods. "And open-mindedness toward alternative ways to solve problems," Reuben explains, "is a very valid thing in today's world."

Well, that's it. It doesn't sound a thing like the books (Jess is a twentysomething?), and I hate the title. There's also no mention of the books it's based on.
